Thunk thunk thunk

You hear that?  That is the sound of one of my favorite doggie parts.  It is the sound of Dexter's tail.

Dexter expresses so much happiness with his tail.  So many times, when he is happy or excited, Hubby will simply say, look at that tail.

His tail will thunk off of the floor, the couch, the door frame, our arms, you name it.  He wags with reckless abandon, the same way he approaches life.

I love seeing my dog so happy, and I absolutely love the thunk thunk thunk of his happy puppydog tail.

What did I ever do without that noise in my life for so long?
