When we visited Linus last week, they told us about the various brands of stuffing free stuffing free stuffies, and how durable they are. Today, I went to the Tractor Supply Store, and lo and behold, they had them there, and really reasonable priced too. The mini ones are perfect for Dexter, and only $5, so I got him the raccoon, which we named Rocky Raccoon.
Dex and Rocky became fast friends. Sadly, Dex already busted the squeaker in Rocky's tail (this dog is a menace sometimes) but there is a second squeaker in the head, and the toy is durable enough to be used for tugging play. It is machine washable so that when Rocky gets all slobbery I can give him a bath. So far, Dexter loves Rocky; he even joined Dex and me for nap time today.
Here is hoping the no stuff stuffie makes it at least a week.

Mom says thanks for the stuffies advice (stuffies don't last too long in my house either).
We have a Tractor Supply store just down the road so mom will go down there tomorrow to get me a stuffing free stuffie to try!

I picked one up for the kids ( Skineeze ) and Kai drags that thing around like there is no tomorrow. :) Great toys!
We LOVE to kill stuffies, too! They rarely last a day in our house. We even kill the ones without stuffing. We're not "stuffies friendly". haha!

Well that did not take long, Rocky has almost no nose, and very badly worn ears. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THIS DOG? lol.
